Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Kota Palembang kembali melakukan razia juru parkir (jukir) liar.
Upaya ini bertujuan menekan dan menyetop pungutan liar parkir.
Kepala Bidang Pengawasan, Pengendalian, dan Pengoperasian Lalu Lintas Dishub Palembang Julyanzah, mengatakan, beberapa jukir diamankan secara persuasif.
"Kita Tindak Pidana Ringan (Tipiring) yakni dilakukan dengan tidak ada unsur kriminal, serta hukuman yang akan dijatuhkan oleh hakim juga bersifat ringan," katanya, Kamis (8/12/2022).
Julyanzah menjelaskan, pihaknya tidak bisa secara sepihak menangkap jukir tersebut, kecuali jika ada laporan dari masyarakat.
"Jadi harus ada laporan masyarakat langsung ke polisi. Apabila dirugikan baru bisa kita tindak langsung untuk masalah punglinya."
Setelah mendapat laporan dari masyarakat barulah berlanjut ke pihak ke polisian.
"Harus ada laporan ke pihak kepolisian, mungkin nanti untuk menjerat ke pasal pungli. Kalau tanpa ada laporan dari masyarakat, ya paling kita tipiring itu tadi. Jadi, intinya butuh peran dari masyarakat juga untuk tindak parkir di tempat terlarang," kata Julyanzah.
Ia juga mengimbau masyarakat agar tertib parkir, yakni dengan memarkirkan kendaraannya di lahan parkir resmi. (*)
