Wakil Wali Kota Palembang, Fitrianti Agustinda meninjau pelaksanaan donor darah di PT Pusri, Rabu (25/8/2021).
Fitrianti mengatakan, di masa pandemi Covid-19 ini kebutuhan darah semakin meningkat hingga 7 ribu kantong tiap bulan.
Karena itu ia mengapresiasi kepedulian PT Pusri.
"Atas nama Pemerintah dan juga seluruh masyarakat Palembang kami mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada PT Pusri yang tidak henti hentinya melaksanakan kegiatan bakti sosial berupa donor darah," ujar Fitrianti, yang juga Ketua PMI Kota Palembang.
Dalam setahun, kata Fitrianti, PT Pusri melaksanakan beberapa kali bakti sosial donor darah. Ini tentu sangat membantu pemerintah dalam penyediaan stok darah.
"Sebelum pandemi, kita membutuhkan darah sekitar 5 ribu kantong darah selama satu bulan. Di masa Pandemi ini kebutuhan darah bahkan meningkat hingga 7 ribu kantong per bulannya," Fitrianti menyebutkan.
Ia juga Fitri bersyukur karena stok darah saat ini masih cukup dengan adanya pendonor-pendonor rutin melalui PMI Kota Palembang.
"Biasanya donor darah itu dilakukan 3 bulan sekali, tetapi sekarang 2 bulan sekali dan mereka secara rutin mendonorkan darahnya," ujar Fitrianti. (*)
